In 1993 Rinos Stefani traveled to Latin America for the first time and he visited San Agustin, Colombia. He traveled extensively on horseback, he visited San José de Isnos and he crossed the Strait of Magdalena River. He was impressed by the megalithic sculptures and religious burial monuments. In San Agustín Archaeological Park, he did the Praxis Osoguaico in the Fuente de Lavapatas, a ceremonial fountain carved in the stone bed of a stream, a monument related to cults that worshiped water.
